From the airport
The drive takes 20–30 minutes via the Ruta Collas expressway (up to 40 at rush hour). A taxi runs about $15–25 depending on the cooperative; take one from the airport's official taxi stands. If you'd rather ride the bus, the official airport service reaches the Carcelén terminal for $2, and a short taxi from there drops you at the hostal.
By public transport
The Ecovía feeder bus stop is about a 5-minute walk away: one integrated fare connects you to the trunk line at Río Coca station (25–45 minutes). The Carcelén intercity terminal — buses to Otavalo, Ibarra and all of northern Ecuador — is a 10–20 minute drive. At night, as anywhere in Quito, we recommend a taxi or ride-hailing app.
