Good questions
What time are check-in and check-out?
Both are at 12:00 noon: you hand back the room at midday and yours is ready from midday. If your flight lands at an odd hour, message us on WhatsApp and we'll work something out.
How late can I arrive?
Reception is open from 07:00 to midnight every day. If you'll arrive after midnight, let us know on WhatsApp that same day and we'll wait up for you.
How much is a night?
From $10 a night for a double room. All our rooms are doubles, with a double bed, wifi and Netflix included.
How do I get there from the airport?
Carapungo is one of the closest parts of Quito to Mariscal Sucre airport: 20–30 minutes by taxi or car via the Ruta Collas expressway (a taxi runs about $15–25). There's also the official airport bus to the Carcelén terminal for $2. It's about the shortest airport run you'll find in the city.
Is there parking?
We don't have our own parking. Most of our guests arrive by taxi or public transport — the Ecovía feeder bus stop is about a five-minute walk away.
Is the wifi good? And the Netflix?
Wifi is free and covers the whole hostal, and every room has Netflix included. Both are there so you can properly switch off.
What part of town is the hostal in?
We're in Carapungo, a residential and commercial neighborhood in the north of Quito, in the parish of Calderón. It's a hard-working local area with markets, pharmacies and food nearby — and the most convenient base if the airport is your priority.
